Why Use a Good Frisco TX Real Estate Agent?

TopReasonsToHireAgentThe short answer is – because a good real estate agent will provide more value in your transaction, than “cost” you.

It is typical in a real estate transaction, fees are paid by the seller – even if you have a real estate representing you as a buyer. So, it does not cost you anything yet provides you huge benefits in the home buyer representation.

Information about Home Buying are all over the Internet now. Do I really need a Realtor to represent me in my home buying transaction?

A good realtor’s job is much more than showing houses. In the industry, we call them “Door Openers”. Great value is injected when a good buyer’s agent does these things for you:

Accurate and Faster Access:
We are in a seller’s market right now. This usually means nice homes fly off the market within days. Sometimes, by the end of the 1st day, sellers have a few good offers to select from. If you are depending on Trulia, Zillow or Realtor.com for new inventory, you might be too late! A good agent is a full-time agent who constantly monitors the market inventory long before you knew you were buying a house.

Negotiation is a Strategy:
A good realtor understands your situation and helps structure a deal to best help you take advantage of where you are. The realtor helps you and the seller find a common ground and make the deal happen. A good realtor does not just help you fill out the contract. A good realtor make phone calls, find out more about the other party to put a deal together.

Resourceful team:
A good realtor helps you understand the process through a home buyer consultation, helps you make informed decisions throughout the process and have many well-established connections in the marketplace. Along with their market insights, they know other great lenders, home inspectors, painters, attorneys, title companies, plumbers, HVAC, etc. Once you are connected to a great realtor, you can tap into the other resources s/he has built as a team.

Voluntary Restrict Geographical Locations:
A licensed Texas real estate agent can sell real estate across Texas. Even the DFW metroplex spans over 100-mile radius. If you desire to purchase real estate in Frisco, find an agent who specializes in Frisco and surrounding cities. Not one who may sell real estate from Hurst, Euless, Bedford areas, all the way to Arlington & Fort Worth and well into Frisco, Celina and Anna. No one can be an expert in an area as large as that. There are city laws, ordinances, growth and developments about each city that the agent should be well-aware of. No one agent can be good keeping up with every city, town and municipality.

The best way to hire an agent is to ask friends and family for a referral who works in the area. Make sure they had great experiences with the realtor. Once you have a name to call, interview the person for the job. Real estate will be one of your largest assets so make sure you are working with a trustworthy professional. Ask if s/he is full-time or part-time, number of years of work experience and how many transactions a year they do (over 20-25 per year is a good starting number. It is not an end-all, be-all criteria screening selection, but somehow you need to find your own selection criteria to determine who is good with adequate work experience).
